What's The Plan
This trip begins with a five day immersion at our Yoga Ashram - Sattva - at the annual ‘Sattva Summit’; a boutique conscious festival of around 150 people. Staying at Sattva, 45 mins outside of Rishikesh - you’ll experience yogic teachings like never before. Yoga asana, breath work, kriya, meditation, mantra, sacred rituals, devotional practices, wisdom talks, food, cultural celebration and time in community meeting international friends - that we’re sure will become friends for life!
We then relocate into Rishikesh, the home of yoga, for 2 nights where we’ll enjoy more cultural experiences including; evening Aarti at Parmarth Niketan Ashram - the world's largest ashram, a visit to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ashram - where the Beatles spent time developing their spiritual practices in the late 60’s - which is now abandoned and feels like a magical, spiritual jumanji land and a closing ceremony for us with Pandit Shubham on the banks of the Ganga. There will be group practices throughout led by Simon and Char to encourage self enquiry and deepen our connection as a group.
There will be opportunities to book ayurvedic wellness treatments throughout your time at Sattva at their in house spa. Sattva is situated on the banks of a river, has a swimming pool - for those of you who enjoy cold water and is nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas - so nature is abundant and all around you.

What is the Sattva Summit?
The Summit is a conscious community festival within the Sattva Community, which we call our home. It is a festival offering spiritual and cultural experiences and it's the time of the year when Sattva really shows what it has to offer: The premise is decorated and artists and teachers from within the worldwide community do their uttermost best to give you an uplifting experience throughout the week. The energy is high, and while it's a light-hearted energy, it is a lot of energy and impressions to take in. That's why we close our festival week with a 2-night stay in Rishikesh with integration-offerings for heart, body, mind and soul.
About The Summit
Come together as a global conscious community at the Sattva Summit in the foothills of the Himalayas for a peak experience of yoga, meditation, deep wisdom, inspiring movement and transformative service! Evolve your personal practice; expand your awareness; deepen your silence; enrich all aspects of your life! Go beyond the idea of awakening. Awaken! Discover what you have been looking for all along! You are the path, the path is You!
The Sattva Summit is an intimate yet expansive boutique conscious gathering, featuring some of the world’s most profound yoga teachers, thought leaders, musicians and artists. The Summit offers a unique opportunity for Yogis from across the globe to gather as a community for a week of deep healing, expansion and joy.
Your Accommodation
Sattva is located in the outskirts of Rishikesh, the birthplace of yoga, and home to great Indian epic texts such as the Mahabharata, Bhagavad Gita, and the Upanishads. Tucked away in the natural beauty of the Himalayas, this haven rests in Mohan Chatti, also known as the path of the Rishi’s, in a valley alongside a pure waterway that flows down from the mountains and into the Ganges River.
The Sattva provides an intimate space, supportive of deep healing, transformation and harmony. Every part of this sanctuary is uniquely designed to revitalize and awaken “reasonless joy” within its guests, bringing them to experience greater unity with the self.
You will also have the opportunity to enjoy the Sattva Ayurvedic Spa, situated adjacent to the fresh water river and meditation gardens providing the ideal space to slow down, attune to nature and rejuvenate your body mind and soul in the lap of Himalayan luxury.

Travel Guide
We want to make your journey to and from Rishikesh as easy as possible. Here’s some info which you might find helpful.
Flights:
Flights are not included so we recommend booking as early as possible to get the best prices. You will need to fly into New Delhi International Airport, from there;
-
Option One is to take a Flight to Dehradun (a Domestic Airport) from the New Delhi International Airport. Upon arrival at the Dehradun Airport, we can arrange a ride for you to be picked up and brought directly to Sattva at an additional transfer cost. This option is good - when flights align - but can often include lengthy layovers and inconvenient transfer between international and domestic carriers.
-
Option two is to take a train from Delhi to Hardiwar (a neighboring city of Rishikesh). From Hardiwar you can then either take public transportation (such as a bus) or a taxi at an additional cost.
-
Option three is a private taxi from New Delhi International Airport, direct to Sattva. The cost of a private taxi is from £70-100 (one way), depending on the car you would like. We recommend this option - it makes for the smoothest and most time efficient option.
Transfers:
Transfers to and from the airport are not included but can be arranged as above.
Visa:
We advise checking visa requirements well in advance - this will vary depending on your nationality and is something that needs to be arranged in advance of travel and can be at an additional fee.
For European travellers a simple E-visa is available at : https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html
